The 'groups' functionality was barely usable when SW first went online because there were far, far too many groups for a community of this size. We do not need -- and have never needed -- a group titled "I Idaho", another group titled, "I am in Idaho", a third group titled, "I'm in Idaho", and a forth group titled "I am living in Idaho" for a fictitious but realistic example. If we ever want these groups to function as communities, we need them to be few enough for each to receive a considerable amount of usage over the course of each month.

I used to enjoy quirky groups like "I have never eaten a sibling" too, but that doesn't excuse shitty site design.
