Because it conflicted with users personal information and EP was all about being anonymous

@PaulMcCartney: it was just the thing that everyone latched onto so they'd have something concrete to blame. Made it easier to understand. EP was going to shut down in any case. Even if those two never met.

@PaulMcCartney: because what you're saying is all conjecture. Unless you actually have inside info because you worked for EP, or the investigating agencies, you're grasping at straws. You are guessing, just as the rest of us are. The thing is, most of us aren't claiming to be the ones with the one true fact. Guess all you want, but don't claim that you know anything.

No one can claim to be 100% sure

@FallenOptimist22: that's right. The only thing I am sure of, is that EP started failing at least two years before they closed their doors. And all I have to go on, is the fact that the members started running the site. Trying to get admin or a moderator was useless. They were busy fighting some kind of legal battle. What that was, I don't know, but I'm quite sure it had nothing to do with a pair of very disturbed individuals.
