Would you respond to a dm that was just "?"?

The other day someone messaged me on one of social media accounts (for the first time) with half of my name "Asm" and I had to reply with "?"

I probably would. It would pique my curiosity. Admittedly, it would be a short reply.

As a rule, I don't respond to messages at all unless it's someone I know, but a "?" might just make my brain itch.

I would look for context to see what was meant.

If I couldn't find anything, I'd likely just respond with "!".

Certainly not an initial DM like that.

I dont respond to dm’s at all- unless they’ are from certain people I “know” or ones I start (non sexual!) I get ones all the time that just say “hey” and I open them so I don’t have the icon lit up 😂😂😂😂 but I don’t respond …. Sorry long story obviously not short- no I would not respond
