The users list on the top of the home page is very useless for me and gives even bad memories for me ☹️

I'd like the options to:-

A) Not appear on it, and
B) Hide it...

It makes me really sad seeing some of my old friends.

I don't pay attention to that pic list at all, but I understand your feelings and I'm sorry it's taking such a toll on your time here and making you sad...indeed, that shouldn't happen. Most of us come here to find distraction from everyday life, to have fun with our friends and not to be burdened even more by unnecessary features. (((((((Hugs)))))))))))

Oh bad. I thought it only showed friends recently online/active. That'd be better.

I'm seeing a guy I knew on EP but never interacted with here.

It’s yet another pointless theoretical “improvement” to the site. I have absolutely no recollection of the vast majority of those who appear.

It's a feature that seems stupid - I never asked for it - I don't want it - wonder if an 'ad blocker' extension could be configured to block it?

I believe it is trying to connect people. Seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why they are there. They are not necessarily people that are online or people that I have interacted with. They seem very random.

But I guess it does not bother me
