Now that VIP members will be able to see who downvotes,

I have to wonder if the whole downvote thing was just a ploy to sell more VIP. 🤔

Wouldn't surprise me if that's the case. It's not as if people here were clamoring to have a downvote option in the first place. So why did they start it up (even as YouTube was eliminating the option) and maintain it despite all the complaints about it?

@Straylight The only attraction of VIP for me is that it increases the number of photos you can post. Other than that, it's of no interest to me.
