I think it is sad that some members here will make 20 posts and get a single response to 2 of them

That would be very disheartening.

I think they are usually men. If it were a hot woman, even if the post is nonsense, she’ll get more replies. I try and leave at least a heart to those posts, but only if they make sense.

Perhaps they don’t interact with others enough.

They are not the kind of men that would attract me. However, I disagree with your second statement. I do more interacting on others posts than I do on my own. They can start leaving comments, and interact that way for a start. @Gusman

Engaging with other's posts may engender more interaction on their own posts.

You can’t go around commenting on posts that don’t interest you. There has to be “pull” something that initiates a response in you. People only have so much mental bandwidth. @Gusman
