For example; selfie feeds depress me .... so I mute people who regularly initiate selfie feeds (or just while they are active)

But that does not work well ... because all my friends are attractive women and next thing I know ... I am seeing massive invites to view selfies ... in the same post I just muted.

Which depresses me even more.

So ... I would like mute to actually mute the posts.

@MellyMel22 I turn notifications off on those posts ... but it usually too late by the time I realize what kind of post it is.

But, like you note ... the comments still come through

@TexChik It is not the selfies ... it is the long threads of multiple selfies, that depress me.

And I do not know why ... but it occurs quick and stays with me for days.

My only cure is to go offline till I am interested again.

@questionWeaver I so understand and relate to that. Some posts go on for hours and days and it starts to affect me negatively because it saturates the active feed. It's just too much on the senses.
