I need someones opinion

does protesting really do anything I mean does it really change anything at all they took down 2 statues in wilmington de because i guess they were afraid of people vandalizing them but just because you take them down its still in history books and libraries on the internet so whats the difference r they going to eventually take it out of everything I dont understand why certain people get so butthurt over history we don't live in those times anymore

larold99 i think protest just makes a point there is a big issue peaceful ones are quiet acceptable whether the government of the day treat this with any serious consideration is another thing but when it comes to rioting and vandalism that is not acceptable i can only think they did this to these statues as they where considered people who had a racist connection

@smiler2012 yeah but I think one of them had been there for about 50 years so im like why r u worried about that now if they have a problem with racism they should go pay the kkk a visit and tell them to stop being racist which it won't happen im not even sure why they are to begin with
