Probably as hard as it is to be a male in the real world. But it depends. As a male you know you are going to be rejected a huge majority of the time and this carries over to SW as well.
Now introduce some variables into the equation: If communication, civility, a flair for words and other positive traits that lend themselves to online interactions are your forte as a male, then SW is probably a better place than the real world to find females to interact with. If your appearance and persona are your best traits as a male then SW will not help much coz those do not translate over to the online world.
On the whole, I guess SW mirrors the real world when it comes to dealing with the male condition.

@GFExplorer: Yeah, there's no possible way to be able to totally think like the opposite gender.. if we were able to do that then both males and females would think just a like. Wouldn't that be nice. I'm also confused by what you meant by thinking like 'neither'.. are you suggesting we have the ability to think like animals or something?

@FreeInterpretation: you may be right of course, this is just my view. I personally do not think there is a female or male brain per se but only a body (including the brain) affected by hormones.

@FreeInterpretation: I actually did once as a trial on EP. Within an hour or two I had received half a dozen messages of Hi, Would I like to talk, Do you do pictures, where are you from etc etc. It was interesting playing them along, trying to type 'in a high voice'. Insightful.
