I certainly remember the open bottom girdles with garters and the full corsellettes Mom had, the OBG's were so amazing because you could still put on panties and stockings too! I don't remember that they were "Playtex" but suspect they must have been, i used to fill the bra cups with stockings!

The very first thing i tried of mom’s was babydoll panties(no thongs back then thank god). They were on the dryer and after days of looking and touching. Took then to my room and bam, i was hooked. Of course i was already hooked on plastic pants. But thats another story.

I tried (and failed) to avoid being bullied about my weight at school by getting myself a Playtex "I Can't Believe It's A Girdle". I claimed to have lost some weight over the summer, I still got bullied, and even though my grand plan had failed, I had to keep wearing it. (If my saggy belly had reappeared overnight, someone would surely have figured out what I'd tried to do.)

I absolutely hated it. I'd stop off somewhere quiet on my way to school - I didn't dare wear it at home - quickly get my trousers off, step into my panty girdle and grimace as I tugged it on. Then I'd get dressed again and head to school with this bloody thing gripping my belly, backside and thighs. By lunchtime I'd just about want to scream, but I would have to endure it all afternoon. The single greatest pleasure of my life back then was stopping on my way home to peel the damn thing off me. The sheer relief!

And the worst of it was I had no-one to blame but myself.
