Well. I travelled 340 miles round trip today.

Paid about £40 in petrol.
£6 for parking.
Paid £38 to get into a football ground
Paid £4 to get a programme.
Paid £6 for snacks. (2 cups of tea and a Hotdog !)
Watched my team get beat 3-0 playing the [i]worst[/i] football i think i've ever seen !
Got delayed coming back because i was pulled over by Police for a 'spot check' near Cambridge and they went through just about every inch of my car......(?)
30 miles from home.....accident so detoured.

Could have spent the day in bed and have it cost me NOTHING !!! 🤬

Yes but.. where's your spirit of adventure.. you didn't know your team would lose, you hoped they wouldn't.. you can't have known and had they won, you would have wanted to be there to see them win...
