Unfortunately, the art of civil debate is not one that comes easily to some social media users (or journalists or politicians for that matter).

Fragile egos see debate or disagreement as personal attack, and of course themselves go straight into personal attacks.

I’m astonished at how fragile some people are at being politely challenged.

@LukeTheDuke Well when people are on an anonymous website like this, they feel an advantage to unleash whatever they want to say and still get away with it.
