Well I'm not gonna be online too much for a little while here due to technical difficulties.

My knife shelf ripped out of its drywall anchors this morning and crashed down onto my desk. The impact shattered my laptop screen so I'm limited to my phone for now.

You used plastic cement block anchors instead of legit drywall anchors...didn't ya'? Rookie mistake.

@MethDozer No actually I used legit drywall anchors, but that wasn't enough. I needed to put the shelf supports into the wall studs. I was using it to hold a lot of really heavy shit.

@BlueMetalChick Gotcha. In addition get Molly bolts or toggle bolts better yet. Those will do you proper. Those are exponentially better than any drywall or masonry anchor. Just being helpful hopefully.

@MethDozer I'm just glad that the computer only broke the screen. I can use my television as an external monitor to back up all my files to drives. Otherwise, I'd have lost over 40,000 files.

@BlueMetalChick I hear ya'.
