I fail to see how masculinity has come to be seen as “toxic” anyone care to explain?

The way I see it society really should give guys a break cause all things considered women do have it better than man in more ways than not.

Like periods, women are lucky?

Yes women are lucky in more ways than not. Women are treated differently and often times more favorably by society than men often do. @JovialPlutonian

@JohnTaylor that depends on what you attempt to pursue as a woman, and if you meet social performance/expectations while you do it.

If a man and I applied for the same job with equal qualifications I bet I would get hired over than man nowadays because businesses and society are so infatuated with the idea of diversity and meeting quotas. To me that’s insulting.i want to be celebrated and hired because I’m the best one for the job and because I’m a hard worker not because just by some chance I was born with a vagina between my legs.@SW-User

@JohnTaylor I think you may be underestimating the historical novelness of certain things happening right now. That said, the point you’re making would still not be a universal one, meaning that it depends on the industry. If you were attempting to apply to a company that is concerned with press attention then that is possible, but on a grander scale, statistically inaccurate. Also, you are far less likely to be hired if it comes up in the interview that you are a mother, or in your 40’s+

@SW-User whether you choose to follow them!

Antisocial is merely not conforming to 'someone' else's rule.

@JovialPlutonian well, yes of course, but she presumes ease. Counterculture is never ‘easier’ in terms of ‘success in society’ Lol

@SW-User not in a highly evolved society

@JovialPlutonian yeah, but that’s a hypothetical, not a discussion about conditions of the present society.
