It's completely similar and i know that site was shut down due to issues with reddit. I'm just wondering though it think i know the answer.

Supposedly EP closed because one member agreed to help another commit suicide......she was bound hand and foot when she was found and the police wanted to see their PMs.(EP had promised not to give out personal data.
There were tv and news stories at the time.
But I think that was the last straw and they weren't heartbroken to shut the place down.

It is the same concept as EP but the UI/design of the website is a bit different. Also, just because things change over time, the atmosphere here is not like (and will probably never be like) EP. There are a lot of old EP members here, including myself but also a lot of people who were never on EP. :)

@Throughobstacles EP was based on anonymity they would not co-operate with authorities and they should have done especially were life is in danger or life has been taken
As for changes that they didnt need to do here is one you would log in and find some features just vanished or they altered the avi's to a size no one could see
they would never do anything about trolls and lowlife scum its their own fault it died
