I'm always happy when a conversation begins, or a debate/discussion occurs in one of my posts. It's a public forum...anyone and everyone can come in and participate. The poster is NOT the boss. If they become abusive you can delete their comments and/or block them

No I quite enjoy it. Makes me feel I asked something worthwhile or that people got some entertainment from it.

why? it’s a public forum. the reply button works for everyone for a reason. i’m glad if my posts generate discourse.

Just turn off notifs

Depends if it’s an interesting post or not. If it’s something random or something I posted weeks ago it gets on my nerves but otherwise it’s fine, inflating my ego by making the replies count look bigger 😆
