If I click on a profile and answer ONE question from it, would you say I was "stalking" that profile?

Or would you say the other person is a paranoid nutter for accusing me of stalking him?

Certainly not stalking. Depending on how old the question was they may lose interest in their older posts.
Many people only want to be in the here and now. Short attention span and all that

@Atomic Reading that, the whole interaction did not really make much sense to me.
I see many of these sorts of interactions and I sometimes think they do go on too long and get nastier the longer they are.
But it is still not stalking
