It's too bad Marcange deleted his account. I was hoping to say "I told you so" but he's gone.

He told me that when the Samsung Note 9 was released, it was gonna be the best phone ever and I was gonna want one. Well guess what, Note 9 is out now and it's just as pathetic and inferior as every other Samsung phone.

What kind of phone do you have? I kinda like the Note.

@IAmJess I have a Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Better screen resolution, larger battery capacity, and higher quality camera than anything Samsung makes. The one downside is that the slow-motion camera isn't that great; a Samsung or an iPhone have much better slow-motion capabilities.
@BlueMetalChick It's Android, right?

@IAmJess Yep.
@BlueMetalChick Just looked it up. I couldn't live without the headphone jack, but otherwise it looks nice.

@IAmJess I hate the fact that it doesn't have a headphones jack either but Huawei was was nice enough to include a quality pair of earbuds in the box that don't need a USB-C adapter because the end of the cord has a USB-C plug instead of the normal 3.5mm plug, so I decided to roll with it because I don't need the fucking dongle.
@BlueMetalChick But then you can't charge while listening, right?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@IAmJess No, but I don't think I've ever been in a scenario when I needed to charge my phone while listening to music anyway. And if I did, I could theoretically just use a bypass. They make cases that actually have the bypass built in, so the case has a USB-C plug and then it branches into separate ports in the bottom of the case for charging and headphones.
@BlueMetalChick Well the only time I do that is in my room. I have an old CD player that has a input jack that I plug my phone into to listen to music. I suppose I could just join the modern era and get a set of Bluetooth speakers, but I've never really used Bluetooth for anything before.

@IAmJess Bluetooth speakers are useful but they can be a pain in the ass. Personally I prefer the aux cord because it doesn't consume as much battery power and also it's more solid, Bluetooth signal can be a little spotty sometimes. But I do use a Bluetooth speaker in my bathroom to listen to music or news because that way I can have the speaker on one side of the bathroom, and the phone on the shelf so I can just reach out of the shower and change the song or whatever.
@BlueMetalChick Yup. That's what I've heard about Bluetooth and that's why I've never made the jump. But to be honest, my old CD player is huge and I can't remember the last time I've held a disc in my hands, never mind put one in this thing! So idk. I'm moving to a dorm room in a couple weeks ago this thing might finally be retired.
