I’m so confused with how deleting post works on here now ?

I deleted a post, although I’m still receiving notifications from it and when I go to the notification link the post is still present with an arrow which I’m assuming that’s an option to bring the post back. Although, is the post actually deleted or just hidden ?😶 can you still delete post permanently, I have an similar issue with pms as well.

yeah you just have to click the small blue text “i want to completely remove this post” wheb you click the delete button. similar world made it so it just hides your posts now which people can still get to if they have the link.

what SW wants with hidden posts i have no idea.

@DarlingSelah when you go to delete a post there is a really fine print on the bottom that says “I want to completely delete this post” if you don’t press that then the post will be “hidden” and not truly deleted. Which I dont understand how to get back to the post once it’s hidden, I was only able to by going through my notifications of the post. When it’s hidden it also gives you an option to restore the post, that is if you find the post. I also think that VIP members can see hidden post, because marshmallow deleted a post once and I was able to see it. I commented on it and she messaged me saying she thought she deleted the post 😂 so I’m assuming vips are able to see hidden post. Although I wasn’t able to see my hidden post...I guess just other’s ?

@waleskinder probably..or either blocked I’m assuming. I think the whole reason for them making deleting post like this a way to prevent people from deleting them so regularly. I think it’s common for people to delete their post often here at first they made it to where you’d lost coins for deleting which I don’t think many users cared about, so now it’s kind of like they’re being a bit deceiving when it comes to deleting them.
