I am a New Member at Similar Worlds

I miss EP. I had such a good thing going there. Had my profile just the way I liked it, had a few good friends in my circle, and had a beautiful compendium of stories I wrote. But I have come to accept that EP is never coming back, and SW is just about as good as it gets from here on out. So I guess I will give SW a shot, start writing again, and see if maybe it offers me the same outlet that EP did. The whole point of my posts on EP was to collect my thoughts and get a grip on my mind; which is slowly slipping away. It was like having a diary, that is capable of giving constructive and supportive feedback. You see people at their most fragile, most honest state. Don't know if SW will be the same. From what I see most people don't even post stories.

So, to all old EP users out there, how does SW compare? Is it worth the effort at all?
