NewMember with Technical Questions and Issues

Hello, everyone. I recently joined this site and I am a bit confused. There are various categories of forums and groups, but every time I go to one, it sends me to a page where I can make a post. I cannot view any other posts within a category or subcategory. If I go to a main category, it shows me completely unrelated posts. However, if I go to the main page of the site, or to Forums, I can see the latest posts from various categories. Also, on the main page, there is a link to create a new post, but there is no way to choose a category for it. Perhaps, that screen would be displayed once I wrote the post and hit submit. In any case, I went directly to New Similar World's Members section, hoping that it would post there. I'm sure this belongs in a technical forum, not one for introductions. Please feel free to move it there or to ask me to delete this if it's inappropriate.

As a side note, I am a totally blind user who uses the NVDA screen reader with Windows. While the pages are fully accessible, there appears to be no easy way to navigate many of them via heading, list, separator, etc. This means that I must literally go through every link on the page or try to use the find command to locate a specific topic or link. There are headings when I choose "All Topics",though. This is very disappointing, especially given that this is a text-based site, where implementing such things should be relatively easy.

For other new members, it did provide me with choices as to category once I first hit Submit. Now that my content is posted, though, there only appears to be an option to edit it, not to delete it. I don't want to do so, but it is another observation.

@dandylover1 refresh and you will see a trashcan on the post
@dandylover1 there should be a 'delete' option, it just might not have the right alt text placement. sw can be a difficult to navigate site for most people and many of the grouping choices the admins have decided on make little sense to most people, I'd guess.

I would still like to know why I can't view all posts in a given topic. It just sends me to a page for creating a new post whenever I go to a category. That makes no sense.

You pick the catagory when you submit the post.
