Hello I'm new to Similar World :)

I love that the majority of people dare to tell their own opinion here and they don't get judged.
There are some "interesting cases", but where not? :)
I like the site so far. What do old members think, is it worth staying here in the long run?

well, like you said people speak their minds here, its what I like about it, but being anonimous makes that people REALLY speak their minds so you will get super rude comments, idiots and disgusting perverts and contrary to what you seem to think, you will get judged. I do encourage newcomers to not hold back on the block button. I have over 100 blocked users and that way I hardly ever see the rude, stupid or perverted people. if you get tired of anyone for any reason, you just block em and move on or you could just decide to not give a shit, but don't get offended, its what the trolls want.

@reflectingmonkey I agree. There's also a lot of hyper politics on here. People just keep spouting off the same thing over and over and over. And when they post something that doesn't seem to come across too hyper, you try and add to the conversation but then it goes into super hyper mode and yea that's when I realize they are insane, I'll block.

I've even come across a few hyper politic stuff where I won't even engage, I'll just outright block for my own sanity.

@twiigss I think i blocked all the political stuff 😂🤣 i also blocked the conspiracists, the anti-science religious people, the haters, the closet racists and xenophobes. I'm a bit of a serial blocker.

@reflectingmonkey I've blocked all the stupid crap mainly as you pointed out. Think I've got nearly 20 people on my block list. It's not too many, but just blocking clears the feed for more quality content.

I don't mind looking at something once in a while that might be political, but when you see it on your feed every single day, yea it can get to be a bit much.
