It's hard for me to believe anyone here is actually new lol, bc most ppl here have been here for years, even if they're just lurkers. Also you don't have a pfp, that is not doing you favors lol

Chill bub...just be you. Consistently so. Find your groove and disregard the rest. Cant take things to heart and arrive at a concussion in a few hours time.

There are lot fakes and trolls here. I try not worry about it. But I get why people are apprehensive in interacting with them right away.

People are realllly suspicious of new users cause most new users are just alt accounts, throwaways, catfish, trolls, bots, and banned users just making a new account. It's kind of what happens when you have a sh*t verification system.

Hmmm, I've read your post, read the comments and read your responses to the comments.

Any group of people (on or offline) naturally gravitate towards those they feel some sort of connection/affinity with. It's just human nature. The longer one has been here, the more chance that many have read their posts and have become "friends" or at least follow them. So yeah, the old timers tend to have a larger more established presence and in a way are respected, even defended.

It's like going to a new job, a new school, a new town or country - it takes a while and effort to fit in and establish yourself as one of gang.

Give it some time, respond to posts, make some posts of your own and let your "colors" fly. People need to know you before they just accept you.

One sure way to not ever fit in is is to respond like an a$$ hat with a chip on your shoulder.

If you look at lavas response to me ,that's what sw is about,it doesn't take 100 friends to make this place special it only takes one

Hang in there not everyone is like that.

There are new members who’ve come here and fit right in. I’m friends with some of them. But it’s like life, some folks ‘click’. Others, less so.
