I am a New Member at Similar Worlds

i had heard far to many bad things about that place. I went to answermug for a bit-before this opened and after EP closed. The owner of the site, Janet, was NOT looked kindly on. Shame, as when she was at EP she was kittenwithawhip and wrote some vert erotic and very sexy stories and posts. Shame she left and did not allow others the freedom she had at EP. As that place is run so Nazi like.

@Elandra77: Yeah, for sure! I supported her site and her, but I didn't get any back up from her when I needed it after being harassed there. Their blocking feature doesn't even work, so you are at the mercy of anyone! She said they didn't have any more money to put into the site, I can't see it growing the way it is. I liked the layout there, with the whiteboard and all, but the features are much better over here. I didn't think I'd like it, but I'm getting use to it, still a little too impersonal though. I never knew Janet wrote erotic stories, she sure is down on it now.

@sweetpea: She, and a few others who went with her, (but some held dual accounts) started the site and set the rules. They became her lieutenants. Gestapo. Shortly after the site was up and running she went back to EP and deleted all of the erotic stuff and left one post of 20-30 words. Innocent enough. BUT- she essentially wrote erotic or smut.

I tried three times to join- I waited for my password-or confirmation- it never came. I know I was NOT WANTED there. And so it was. I was outed BEFORE even getting there. And there were others.

Yes, her money is running out. The site is on life support as I hear it. Soon- she will be here or at answermug- but she will NOT be welcome there. And I suspect that if she comes here, she will use her old EP name. Look for it.

Shame she and her Gestapo is like that. I guess she did not leave EP to make a BETTER site after all??

@Elandra77: Oh WOW!? That's terrible you were treated that way?! Why would she not want you on R2T I wonder, because you know too much about her, haha!? I think having multiple accounts is B.S.!!! I deleted my account after she wouldn't help me. It really touched my heart to here so many people were asking what happened to me. I hear through the grapevine she regrets what she said. I had worked hard on my profile over there and had over 100 friends at one time. She shot down one of her main supporters when she turned her back on me. I've heard other people say the same thing as you, I tried to like her but I don't. There's lots of people there that feel that way too but don't say because they want to see their friends. But I think you're right, it's gonna flop! They haven't done any updates since April?! NO...it's NOT better, people are walking on egg shells because they don't know what will happen to them if they don't!? You can't be yourself there, but she can do as she pleases and was REALLY the first one to break her own rules when it came to cussing........OH, so you can now cuss there, haha! @sweetpea: I thin kit was because they knew of me. And that is all she, or her Gestapo did, as we were not friends. But I tend to speak my heart-and mind. I think they knew I would soon see the hypocrites they had become. Problem (for them) is that I am not the only one to do so. There are others. And yes, they may remain silent. A lot on these sites do that. Observe-but speak little.

@Elandra77: I'm sure you're right. I never knew her on EP, I only saw her as she was leaving because she said she was being bullied there, ha! She doesn't care that it happens to anyone else on R2T though?! A friend told me she was starting that website so I joined thinking I would be safe from bullies, what a joke that turned out to be?! 😱

@sweetpea: I am sorry to hear it went down that way for you. I am sure others can also speak of similar experiences. A friend of mine was booted off as her avi was reported and they told her there "was no place here for people like you " She stated she was submissive. That is all it took.

i can GO there. And I have read the so vanilla stories posted there. And I see a lot form EP -now there. But I think that was them just trying to generate traffic to the site.

Shame she turned out the way she did. And more of shame that she is so blind as to not realize how others perceives her- and that it is her fault.

Well, last I was there she was just posting "I don't care." and she proved to me she doesn't. Yeah, you aren't allowed much room on their to say much. I don't like some of the rude and crude people here, but at least I have the choice to ignore and go to something else. As you said, it's so vanilla! I do miss a few friends I left behind, but from what I hear there's only a handful of people that even post there anymore.
