Muslim women, like any women or any men, have the "rights" the society they live in allows them. Right wing, conservative and ultra-religious societies tend to curtail women's rights more than men's rights, but it all depends on the society.
They don’t, unless they live in non-traditional settings. Or they’re okay with restrictions.

One of my friends, a classmate from college, married another classmate of ours who is an atheist. They accept each other and have been happy together for the past 45 years. She left her home country to come live in the U.S. but is still Muslim—on her own terms.

She told me years ago that she could never have married a traditional Muslim man and enjoyed her life, as she does with her husband. 😊

What do the contributions of a Muslim woman to the astrolabe have to do with the rights of Muslim women?

Did you copy and paste the wrong text into this post???
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@SumKindaMunster A woman living in a predominantly Islamic country had the resources and intellectual freedom to pursue scientific research that in much of contemporary Christendom would have seen her condemned and punished for witchcraft. Context and understanding is everything.

@SunshineGirl exactly, they even accuse you to be brainless

@SunshineGirl If context and understanding is "everything" then the title should have been:

A woman didn't have rights, is this true? Here is the truth.

It indicates that "women" didn't have rights, not a singular woman.
By your logic, because Marie Curie existed, sexism never existed. Nice rage bait bro…

The story of that ONE woman Im sure does not translate to the experience of millions of oppressed Muslim women around the world.

@CurrentName okay how do you now they are oppressed ? do you live with them ?

muslims women actually has right before western women did.
in the 7th century muslim womens were allowed to own and buy or sell propreties, women in england were only allowed to that in 1882 and in france in 1907
in the 7th century muslim women were garanteed a share of inheritance, whereas that was only a law in england in 1922
the quran forbid women to be forced into marriages. 7th century again . and that was only a law in the uk in 1753
7th century muslim women were allowed to file for divorce, whereas that was only a law in england in 1857
that's muslim women had rights 1200years prior western women did and you feminist still think they are oppresed
