Feels like less Women identify as one.

I’ve noticed less and less women identifying as feminists and I wonder why? It’s sad that something advocating for our rights has somehow lost popularity

It never did advocate for women's rights. When feminism first infected society, its main opposition was women. It tries to destroy women, turn men against women, and make us dependent on the state.

@curiouslady93 i agree with your view
curiouslady93 · 31-35, F
@Alex51 It isn't even a view, it's just a fact. I recommend people look up the history of all this stuff.

@Torsten Duh, how else are these dumb broads gonna understand?
Torsten · 36-40, M
@BohemianBoo man, with you trying to teach people, i feel they would be left in a much worse state. the blind trying to lead others is a recipe for disaster
@Torsten Bruh, people like this don't care about learning.
If someone asked, has the feminist movement actually helped women? That's a good faith question, we can have a real discussion there.
But when someone just repeats conspiracy theories about feminism being a plot to... *cringes* ...get people dependent on government, they're not being serious.
curiouslady93 · 31-35, F
@BohemianBoo Yes, I am being serious.

If you've been convinced that you don't need a man, and don't have that second income, and you only have a limited number of hours in a day to make money, but you need more, where does that money come from if not the state? Calling something a "conspiracy theory" doesn't make something any less credible. Only the stupid of the stupid dumb down everything into "this is the very little amount i understand, everything else is a ConSPirACy TheOrY".
Torsten · 36-40, M
@BohemianBoo well here is a example of feminism making women more dependent on the government and that being encouraging single motherhood for financial gain by the government.
Thats not a conspiracy theory, but reality.
curiouslady93 · 31-35, F
@Torsten Don't bother with him, he thinks that calling anything outside his narrow space of understanding a "cOnSPirACy ThEoRY" turns his ignorance into a virtue. In this age of people not wanting to read or learn their own history, it's commonplace.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@curiouslady93 i agree with you completely on that
@Torsten
that being encouraging single motherhood
Which feminist activists have done that?
curiouslady93 · 31-35, F
@curiouslady93 Looking at the experience of single mothers doesn't encourage single motherhood. This is like saying examining the effects of crack just encourages the use of crack.

So, do you see why I don't take shit like this seriously? This kind of right-wing brain rot propaganda relies on a bunch of extreme claims, usually involving a conspiracy, but you look at the "evidence" and it's laughable.
curiouslady93 · 31-35, F
@BohemianBoo Sweet, buzzwords and then you talk of brain rot.
@curiouslady93 What did I say that was wrong?

Your evidence for feminists promoting single parenthood is a series of studies on the single mother experience. That's ridiculous, because researching something doesn't mean you're promoting it. Are sociologists promoting poverty by writing about the experience of living in the ghetto?
curiouslady93 · 31-35, F
@BohemianBoo All of it. The point in which you put your finger onto the keyboard is when I know something is going to be wrong.
@Torsten See what I mean? She's not interested in a good faith discussion. She presented one piece of "evidence," I easily debunked it, so now she's just deflecting with ad homs. She's not going to talk about the alleged evidence of these claims.
