Feels like less Women identify as one.

I’ve noticed less and less women identifying as feminists and I wonder why? It’s sad that something advocating for our rights has somehow lost popularity

Feminist is now outdated logo
@Alex51 No it isn’t. The entire world isn’t Western white women. And there are still places where women are fighting for basic rights.

@bijouxbroussard women are fighting for basic rights, not in label of feminist
@Alex51 It’s still what feminism was originally about. The rebranding that has happened this century has caused it to lose direction. But feminism was about equal rights and opportunities for girls and women, still a goal not reached everywhere. And it wasn’t a goal for whites only.

@bijouxbroussard i think now women have equal right and opportunities. Forget about the color
@Alex51 You’re mistaken. And color still makes a big difference. Only the privileged would be unaware of this.

@bijouxbroussard i am not mistaken
@Alex51 You are. It’s probably not even a part of your life experience, so how would you know ?

@bijouxbroussard i lived and worked among multiple colour humans. The color of blood of all humans is red ,so speaking or writing based on color is a stupid concept
@Alex51 It isn’t if you understand that living among different people isn’t the same as living as them, walking in their shoes, experiencing what they may encounter on a day to day basis. It doesn’t matter to you because it doesn’t have to.

@bijouxbroussard color of skin matters to few and for few they like any color. But most of the people don't mind it at all
@Alex51 Again, clearly not part of your life experience. So I don’t expect you to understand.
