Feels like less Women identify as one.

I’ve noticed less and less women identifying as feminists and I wonder why? It’s sad that something advocating for our rights has somehow lost popularity

Originally feminism was about seeking equality.

It was radical in seeking that, but very badly needed. Naturally, there was pushback from people who did not see the need for equality, both male and female. (Obviously, predominantly male.)

Then feminism seemed to be distracted by some going into a phase of seeking more than equality and the original concept was damaged and seen as a power grab.

I would say many people do not want to be seen as feminists, even though they may work and aim for the original ideals.

They don't want to be distracted from their work, by having to go through the history of what the concept means.
