What feminism means to me is seeing the true structures of the societies we live in

Seeing them and try to defy them and sculpt myself out of them as a free person. For as much as I can.

I definite it as a hate movement

@SW-User I don't know about what's your experience in this life, perhaps you never needed to see it as anything else
SW-User
@being If it genuinely presented as what it claims I'd be all for it. From what I've witnessed it's a source of destruction and hate
@SW-User then you don’t know much about feminism. Please read some more about it.
SW-User
@LilithoftheTrees There is what feminism claims to be and then there's actions and actions speak louder than words.
SW-User
@SW-User Actions like? You mean anti cat call policies for example? I think they are good. Men feeling threatened by feminism is such a red flag.
@SW-User can you be more specific? What actions?
SW-User
@LilithoftheTrees Does the chant "kill all men" sound familiar to you? And please don't try and pretend that's not a mantra made by feminists, even prominent ones get to spew that nonsense unchecked. They also tend to be very anti traditional women. They're for all women accept all conservative women.
Belittling the male experience as privileged when men face most adverse outcomes in society, just to name a few, it's no wonder more women are denouncing it and labelling it toxic.
@SW-User you are equating the whole of the feminism movement with misandry. By that logic I could say that all men who support male rights are incels.
SW-User
@SW-User Only because certain people out of a broad belief system and movement spew stupid things does not make it a generally accepted position amongs feminists. It's obviously stupid and probably used to provoke.
I don't think they are anti conservative women it's just that "traditional" women tend to push their agenda on others while feminist want any women to be able to decide for herself how she wants to live her life.

I don’t understand…why is it no wonder?
SW-User
@LilithoftheTrees Because it's toxic
SW-User
@SW-User Can you name postulations or policies you deem toxic?
@SW-User there are toxic areas of most movements. That does not mean that the movement is obsolete. Feminism is toxic - is a general broad term that proves nothing with one example that’s minuscule in the larger scope of what was achieved. Saying it’s toxic as an absolute isn’t informed about the great strides feminism has achieved.

@SW-User
feminists want any women to be able to decide for herself
so long as what she decides for herself goes along with what the sisterhood decides is good and being a traditional wife is not one of those things because it's tantamount to slavery.
SW-User
@SW-User No but no women should feel forced in such a situation due to being financially dependant on a man.
If a woman chooses to be a tradwife and raise her kids at home I am happy for her. It shouldn't be seen as the only norm for woman though.
SW-User
@LilithoftheTrees Feminism certainly has achieved a lot, like the complete dismantling of the family unit and demolition of the boy child's sense of true self. Having kicked the father out of the home and celebrated single motherhood which has proven to have terrible outcomes for children, you left the young man without any role models to look up to and now they're checking out of society in large numbers. Men have most adverse outcomes in society and yet you will still make a song and dance about a patriarchy that's out to get you.
@SW-User Please elaborate. Where do you live? I’d like to know if you feel personality affected. You do realize that women’s rights are human rights? By saying that I and most feminists I know do not advocate misandry. It is not ok to say kill all men. Do you feel victimized?
SW-User

You already do 🤣😂. Jordan Peterson anyone?
Why are you being sarcastic when we are having a discussion? Please tell me how I support incels and what Jordan Peterson has to do with what we are talking about. @SW-User

@SW-User if it wasn't for feminism, women wouldn't be able to vote, have careers, study, would be subject to sexual harassment more than they are and spousal rape would remain legal. So how is it a hate movement?

Do you think women deserve less rights than men?
SW-User
@LilithoftheTrees
You do realize that women’s rights are human rights?
But rights are afforded exclusive to men and not women in 2022?
SW-User
@SW-User Please not again. Peterson is no credible source.

"Dismantling of the family unit" 🤦‍♀️ Do you think single parents should not be supported?
I also agree with an old saying that it takes a village to raise a child.

@SW-User in some parts of the world, yes. Tell me about the rights of women in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan.
SW-User
@SW-User In some parts of the world yes and in our societies there are still pushbacks against womens rights (abortion access for example)
