There seems to be a lot of 'feminists' in my city currently

The age we live in has left a lot of young people confused and this is exceptionally apparent because the local university is about to start a new academic year and so there are a lot of students about.

More and more I'm seeing young girls with hair cuts like little boys and it's clear that they are trying to downplay their natural femininity.

I'm sure in the majority of cases it's just a phase they're going through and in a few years most of them will have settled down with a respectable husband and will be raising children.

However some are more malleable than others and while some young women might tentatively dip their toe into feminist thinking and then decide to dress like men before releasing how silly feminism is there will be others who find it to be a slippery slope and by the time they realise how bad feminism really is, it will be too late for them and they might have to go to a sperm clinic to have children because any decent man will not be interested in them by this point.

It's not a particularly esteemed university and I hope that could be the reason for all these poor young misguided fools. I'd hate to think what I see going on in my city is representative of what's going on throughout the whole country.

Women are not here to please you, we were put here on earth to enjoy OUR life, not to change our looks for the s-xual benefit of another.

I also think that femininity and masculinity are inter changeable. A lot of people are both and some people are more one over the other. It's a myth that we all have one personality due to gender, it never was that way. The only reason you see it more is because we're allowed to without being locked away in Magdalene Laundries and thank GOD for that.

@SatanBurger Gender (not to be confused with 'sex') is a continuum with masculinity and femininity at opposite ends. We all lie somewhere along that continuum, I doubt anyone is purely one or the other extreme.

@Sharon Yeah but these people think in stereotypes and as a result, it makes them look insecure when they're trying to frame what is stereotypically female and male, it's unrealistic expectations.

On the flip side, it's also really cringe because it reflects what's likely their personal lives as well, you can tell by their past by what they blame in the future. People like this often develop these views as a way to outwardly blame people for their lack of a social life and getting women, it reflects their anger at society and then they develop societal expectations of women.

They don't need to work on themselves when it's all feminism's fault for example.

There's some men who are really ultra misogynistic who can have wives and girlfriends, that's called co-dependency. It doesn't mean the female is weak but it's likely that she had an abuse or traumatized past with either friends, ex lovers or family so they can be trauma bonded. As a result they can have internalized misogyny.

This is my issue with people like this.
