Geeze doesn't anyone like the way they made tv shows in the good old days?

Really, nothing is funny anymore

I enjoy something like Fawlty Towers. I hate canned laughter being added to the soundtrack. I know laughter is supposed to be socially infectious but I prefer to make up my own mind.

@SW-User That's very true. I just don't find tv comedy funny these days. Even the ancient Laurel and Hardy's, despite having some dubious elements, are much funnier, e.g. "County Hospital".

@alan20 You might like CODCO, which was a sketch comedy show from Newfoundland in the 80s that only middle-aged Canadians know about. It manages to be funny and soul-crushing at the same time. There's a whole bunch of complete episodes on YouTube.

@SW-User Thanks. Might look into that.

I haven't had a TV since 2004 because there was just nothing on that we wanted to watch.

Same with me. And you're around my age. I don't even bother getting cable or satellite. Yeah around 2004 is when I became uninterested in what they had on tv. Even though I do I like walking dead. And I think it's because it's so realistic
