I think some type of volunteer work for teens is good. Like someone mentioned, one day a week. And if it is at an organization, that can be added on a resume as Volunteer Work/ Experience. Especially if the teen doesn't have or has never had a job. I had to work since the age of 16 and I wish I had to do volunteer assignments in high school. Maybe it could have helped me solidify my choice for my major a lot sooner.

@iamnikki it isn't even one day a week. It's one hour a month.

@Serenitree that should be easy to fulfill then

@iamnikki it should be, but so many prefer to spend three or four hours a week complaining about being forced to do something they don't want to do for one hour a month.

@iamnikki I really wonder how those kids will fare when they experience the work place. Bosses really don't care if you don't want to do what is required. There are plenty of people who are just waiting to jump into that job just so they can feed their families and keep a roof over their heads.

@Serenitree Yea, I'm scared to think of the future. World is pretty bad already
