Do you think community service should be a graduation requirement?

I don't teens are already busy. It has nothing to do with our education. It's hours of our free time taken away.

It is pretty dumb, and shouldn't be a requirement in my honest opinion. Especially since you can't put those CS hours onto a Resume. But it also depends on how your school balances out the Community Service time.

For instance, I had to go to a different school to help elementary-level students or a hospital to assist others for my school's Community Service time once during the school week. Once a week isn't so bad, especially since it's gotten me out of classes. I will admit, that how other schools may handle it is pretty awful. Some people had to spend their entire Saturday doing some sort of CS work.

@TheMasterMan1 the work done can be put on a resume as work experience. At least it can where I live. I believe that 40 hours in four years is actually pretty worthless. It should be more. Maybe 40 hours a year. That's only four hours a month.
