I did that. Didn't necessarily wanna but I needed to. I loved my father and loved living with him but couldn't put up with my drunk ass heroin snorting stepmom. I knew better than she did, so I split on them. She's six feet under now and my dad and I are close with each other again.

@juiceyangel333 I talk about my mother's death fairly often but I probably never said anything about it while talking to you, I suppose. She was slowly dying of liver failure and cirrhosis due to severe alcoholism. She was shot in the foot accidentally by a stray bullet meant for someone else. A healthy adult could have survived this but we had no money and no way to get medical attention, and she was already weak and sickly. She died of blood loss and trauma.

@juiceyangel333 I miss her a lot and I wish it weren't so, but at least I got to say goodbye to her. That helps me find closure in it. A lot of people don't ever get a proper goodbye to their loved ones, and I did, so I am thankful for that.
