Which part of the US is the best?

I like the southern states.

I visited the southwest last month, if you like desert, dirt/sand, and the colors brown and tan, go for it. I live in the great lakes area, we have a color here called green, right now every thing is green and alive! We have 4 full seasons, no earthquakes, no hurricanes, no poisonous snakes, we can walk on the pavement with bare feet, without getting 3rd degree burns on our feet. We may not have mountains, but we do have some nice rolling hills, at least on the south east shores of Lake Erie. Oh and that's something else we have, we have lakes that actually have WATER!!!

The US has a little bit of everything so it's super unique among nations. I have truly liked most places I've visited. But I love the Keys in March.

Best? For alligator hunting I'd say Florida.
But Jim Morrison said, "The West is the best." I'll go with that too.
