Is it true in the 13 reasons why ?

No-one really cares enough to truly stop someone from ending their life?

No. I don't believe that's the premise of the show either. It's more that people are so good at hiding things, it's very difficult to figure out when someone is feeling that way a lot of the time. And at the end of the day, if someone wants to die that badly sometimes there really isn't anything the people who love them can do

@loveyourselfalways00 She didn't want to die, she was looking for a reason to live, and couldnt find one. So when she thought about ending her life she felt no-one really cared that she actually wanted to live.

@RichiNatural97: Yeah of course, but I don't think that was anyone's (out of the people who loved her of course) fault because she was depressed which alters your perception of things. Of course she was failed, and in the context of show everyone did do wrong by her at some point. However I have a problem with that being applied to everyone ever - because people do always care, they just sometimes show it the wrong way/don't realise the impact they have. (again, not talking about rape or any of the genuine horrific things Hannah went through)
