Idk exactly how to ask but

Is there a sort of average time frame or something for people with cancer? My cousin has breast cancer. It went from one, to the other, to her spine, and now it has spread to her lungs and there is nothing that can be done. Is there a way to know if she will live long or not?

@WiltingRose with that spread of metastases, it's very hard to say. I know of one person who had a similar route (breast to breast to spine & brain, in her case), who also eschewed chemo after the first round, and she lived about 8 months after the end of that chemo. People vary enormously, and cancers are highly unpredictable, but I'd be astonished if your cousin is alive in a year, and not very surprised if she was dead in 3 months.
