Idk exactly how to ask but

Is there a sort of average time frame or something for people with cancer? My cousin has breast cancer. It went from one, to the other, to her spine, and now it has spread to her lungs and there is nothing that can be done. Is there a way to know if she will live long or not?

She did not wish to do chemotherapy again, when she found out it spread to her back. So, no she does not have that now any longer. And the doctor did not say an estimate, only that they can't do anything. They just give her pain medicines.
