If you're in a car incident where air bags have been deployed

do you afterwards fold them back in yourself or must they be folded in a special way like parachutes?

If your car is not totaled the air bags are replaced with new ones.

@Loulou: Mine were used a couple years ago in the first auto accident I've ever been in. A guy made a left turn in front of me while I was going about 50 mph. Both air bags deployed. The air bags and the seat belt saved my ass. Car was totaled, I walked away.
