@lockedupforgood: Its actually a huge deal for academia. Lots of amazing research is being done in China.

@lockedupforgood: Roughly 50% of Chinese people knows Mandarin.
so there are roughly six hundred eighty-seven million five hundred thousand Mandarin Speakers in China.
and the rest of the people that people Mandarin are all outside of China.
