Elementary school kids surprised me

When I was on the way back home from school I saw a bunch of elementary school kids wandering around asking random people questions while holding pens and papers I was curious so I asked one of the kids about what they are doing and he said that all third graders have to write about two different animals and talk about their life and compare them to each other and etc...but without parents help or using the internet and they have to write about it with their own hands
I liked the teachers idea Bc nowadays all kids use internet for homework without putting much effort into it this made kids walk around be brave and communicate with people and gather informations on their own and have fun learning etc..
What surprised me are two kids : one boy who chose an ant and an elephant and asked me a strange question who's stronger the ant or the elephant? I was like woah..😂Of course the elaphant ?! but then he said : weird an ant can hold something her weight or double her weight but an elephant can't pick up another elephant. and a girl who was walking with me I asked her what she is going to write about(I knew she's a third grader ) she said two kind of fish (I dunno what kind of fish they are I didn't ask ) but she was smart she didn't ask me or any other random person like the other kids I saw her run to a fisherman and ask him.
well it was a wonderful day 😂❤
