Why are drugs and alcohol considered "bad" things?

Getting drunk now and then, high now and then, no sort of addiction whatsoever, what do people think is wrong with that ?

For some people it's because they don't like the idea of not having control over their body/letting go of their inhibitions. I know I don't.
