@Unloved: My neighbor Miguel was drunk one time and he ate a live cicada. I thought he was playing a trick and he stuck it in his pocket and was only pretending to have put it in his mouth but then he opened his mouth and sure enough, there was a cicada still twitching around on his tongue.
