@transcendinghell: Neither. I voted for Gary Johnson, because the Libertarian Party was the only one on my ballot that wasn't owned by special interests.

@transcendinghell: Then by default, you implicitly backed the winner by making their votes have more effect that they otherwise would. Not attempting to change the status quo makes it easier for fewer people to control said status quo.

@Peekaboo: I admit that at first, the polite liar might even be amusing, but being constantly lied to always gets old. I speak from personal experience.

You can always count on an honest asshole to tell you the truth, without sugar coating anything.

At least with the truth, I can take corrective action if I am at fault in any way. And if I'm not at fault, then I know up front that whomever hurt my feelings is just being rude or abusive and is no friend of mine.

@transcendinghell: Assholes claim to be honest, but in reality they lie to your face with a polite grin. Give me someone who is honest and polite..you can keep the assholes and liars in one place and toss away the key.
