The polite liar I think. I'd tire of the asshole.

@Peekaboo: I admit that at first, the polite liar might even be amusing, but being constantly lied to always gets old. I speak from personal experience.

@Peekaboo: I used to feel the same way, until I overheard people telling each other what they really thought behind my back.
At least with the truth, I can take corrective action if I am at fault in any way. And if I'm not at fault, then I know up front that whomever hurt my feelings is just being rude or abusive and is no friend of mine.
