Well, maybe ours is a burden.
Maybe ours isn't about getting everything we desire.
Maybe ours is about making connections with others and helping them.
Maybe.

@Plainandmundane: Most people are Leeches. They cling on to you for some reason and if it isn't money they want it'll be your time or your energy.
Justice ? What is it you want justice for ?

@Picklebobble2: I meant balance. Equilibrium. Peace comes with mutualism. From the most fundamental relationships to communities...mutualism is required for a balance. We're neglecting the emotional side of people, it's what makes us humans. I'm not okay with being crushed all the time. And I'm also not okay with stepping on someone in the long race to success. But this is what life has come to. And it's despicable. Everything about this world is.

@Plainandmundane: Ah, well, on that one, we were told to go out there and get successful ! That sent house prices through the roof, which meant we couldn't afford to live in the town or village we grew up in, which meant we had to move to different areas further away, which meant we lost touch with those we grew up with, which meant we became part of the corporate mentality, which meant we worked ever longer hours, expected less and so worked ever harder for less and less and things like a spirit of community and friendship and care of our physical and mental well being were traded for making the mortgage and texting each other because we no longer have the time for a coffee and a chat !!
