why wouldn't it be? 10% or 20% of your income goes to fund the federal government. It would work the same for the states, if they had State income tax.

Tax rates should be the same for everyone. That way the lower income don't have an incentive to raise the taxes on the 'rich' and companies. Governments never have an income problem they have a spending problem and the best way to control that is by reducing the taxes raised.

And you said, "Can't blame people for using the laws.", fair enough. But then, like I originally asked, why do they need more tax breaks? It's already lower then for many working class people, and lowering it more wouldn't make it level.

@mic11225: They're generalizations. Resources can be scarse so it would have to cost us something to get what we want, we can't all just have everything at once. Creating more jobs helps a society that uses money to get those resources 🤔
