Timbuktu actually exists , its a village on some African island somewhere

I suggest you ought to have looked it up first! It is a city in Mali, on the African continent; NOT on "some island somewhere"!

@ArishMell: whatever ! , my main focus was that Timbuktu is a real place
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@FurryFace: I didn't say it isn't. :-)

Timbuktu. Northern Mali. On the edge of the Sahara. Pretty much the middle of nowhere.

@Picklebobble2: Not really the middle of nowhere, people live there.

It used to be on the spice routes back in the 1800's.
But it pretty much is a desolate place these days.
SW-User
@Picklebobble2: It might be, but people still live there.So its not the middle of nowhere.

Not on an island, it is in the country of Mali and a historical trade city.
