Are you a loner in real life?

I feel so sad for loners.I am one

I feel you. I don't really understand why some loners are, or pretend to be, happy with their loneliness. I don't know about you, but the reason why I'm a loner is that every time I try to fit in, I disappoint myself by failing. I often daydream about having a real connection with someone, and only my imaginary conversations feel genuinely real and substantial... but I enjoy seeing people interact with each other, and sometimes being a silent observer is painful for me.

Thanks for sharing. So are you in high school? Because from my experience, most teens are superficial that's why they see you for your learning difficulties, not for the person you are... and I've gone through this because I have a disability, in addition to being socially awkward. I find sites like this one really good for making friends, because you can be yourself and meet people with similar interests. And I'm really sorry you lost your mom :( *sends you virtual hugs and chocolate * 🤗
