@SBelle: I read below that you like them. I seldom wear any. But I have quite a few half and full slips. Leggings -and tights- were designed to wear under dresses (or with them)- and with skirts.

You do feel naked but that's the point. Being naked feels good.

I find that clothes sits better with it underneath.

I have this white Victorian lace one that my grandmother made for me. I treasure it and wear it on special occasions under a white gown.
